Industrial Disability Evaluator Course
Yes, this 25-hour IDE course is approved by DWC to satisfy that requirement.
You will have access as long as you need it until you pass the test.
Attending in person is not required, but it is highly recommended for fewer distractions, better engagement and interaction, and real-time clarification. In-person docs also inevitably become a community for collaboration, support, and networking.
No, you do not need to complete the entire IDE course before sitting for the QME exam. You will only need your Certificate of Completion after you pass and are about to be appointed as a QME. However, we strongly recommend that you complete all of the course material (twice!) to be most prepared for the QME exam.
