QME Test Prep for Spring 2025 Exam

For Chiropractors

DCs who want to become a QME in California are required to complete a 25-hour Industrial Disability Evaluator (IDE) training course. This 25-Hour IDE course is approved by & meets the California's Division of Workers' Compensation requirement for a DC to become a QME.


For Medical Doctors

MDs taking this test prep course benefit from the deep dive into the material to best prepare them for this notoriously difficult exam. 

 

This IDE course is comprised of 2 components:

  1. 13 Hours of Live Instruction via live webinar or in-person attendance. 
  2. 12 Hours of On-Demand Instruction and Testing (This Platform) On this e-learning platform, you will be required to complete each lesson in entirety, and also have the ability to re-play any content that you'd like to revisit.

Meet Your Instructors

Mark Zuber

Dr. Zuber has taught industrial medicine for over 25 years. He maintains an active clinical practice in Frisco, Texas and also is an active QME in the California system. He holds the role of Chief Clinical Advisor and Director Of Education at California Medical Evaluators. Dr. Zuber teaches a QME Exam prep class that has a higher than average pass rate. He also offers various QME continuing education seminars throughout the year. His teaching style is easy to follow and enjoyable. He makes complex situations very easy to understand. Dr. Zuber currently lives in McKinney, Texas with his wife and three sons. He is a 3rd degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has competed at the international level, bringing home many medals. Dr. Zuber continues to actively train while also serving as an instructor in both kids' and adults' classes.

Stephanie Janiak

Dr. Janiak is an experienced industrial injury evaluator, teacher, and mentor within the Worker’s Compensation environment. As a licensed chiropractor since 2007, she has extensive experience writing medical-legal reports while running a successful chiropractic practice. She has performed over 1500 designated doctor exams in Texas over the past decade and over 500 functional capacity exams. For the past six years while performing PQME exams in California, Dr. Janiak has helped dozens of doctors to become licensed and certified to perform exams in California. Dr. Janiak currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas with her three young children where she also maintains a small chiropractic practice. She enjoys being active in civic in philanthropic organizations such as The Womans’ Club of Fort Worth and Phi Mu fraternity.
